Cash boost for Oberon Little Athletics after Alissa’s record-breaking run | Oberon Review

Oberon District Little Athletics has received a $1000 bonus thanks to a record-breaking feat by Para-athlete Alissa Jordaan at the 2021 Australian Track and Field Championships in Sydney last week.

The rising track star clocked in at an impressive 61.96 seconds to break the Australian T47 women’s 400m record to claim gold and $1000 for herself and a further $1000 for Oberon District Little Athletics from the Coles Australian Record Challenge, which recognised the achievements of record-breaking athletes and their community club of choice.

Alissa, who is based in the ACT, nominated Oberon District Little Athletics after a visit to the centre earlier in the year.
